Winged Beast Outfitters, namely Stirling Prentice, retains the rights to all of his drawings, illustration etc. etc. Some components of these have been appropriated from sources in the name of satire and/or social commentary etc. etc.

On this, I believe there is a large difference between the theft of intellectual properties and using an image in a new and unintended way.

That said, if you are the creator of one of the previously mentioned source images and have questions or concerns, please save the lawyers fees and contact me.

Courts are expensive, and not all of us have enough photos of lawyers in compromising situations to get us free legal help. The bottom line is that we prefer civility and dialogue, before other measures.

Offended?

I am sorry if any of my art work is offensive to you, or your child who saw it and then asked awkward questions, or you were wearing it and got in a fight, or whatever.

We have all been offended before. There is line between crassness and irony.

It’s a very fine line and in the WBO’s collective imagination it’s blue or green. If you’ve been offended by something intended to be ironic, satirical etc. etc. that’s how it goes.

I'm not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings. But, spare them I will not.
